Polyethylene flange cover cap for 6" ANSI flanges, sealing the gasket face and bore against dirt, moisture and impact.
Designed for industrial pipework systems, this push-on cap fits snugly over the raised face of a 6" ANSI flange to shield the sealing surface and bolt holes during storage, transport and on-site assembly. Sizing questions
How do I pick the right cap?
Measure the outside diameter (OD) of the flange. The cap inside diameter (ID) should match it.
Why are there two caps for one size?
Flange outside diameters vary with the pressure class, so some sizes come with more than one cap ID. Measure the OD and pick the ID that matches.
ANSI or DIN — which is my flange?
ANSI / ASME flanges are sized in inches (for example 4") with a pressure class such as 150 or 300. DIN / EN flanges are sized in DN (for example DN 100) with a PN rating. The standard and size are normally stamped on the flange rim.
