LDPE stud hole insert designed to protect 8" 600 Class flange bolt holes and sealing surfaces from contamination and damage.
This flange protection insert features four ribs that push into the stud holes around the flange perimeter, holding the cap firmly in place over the flange face. Manufactured from high-density low-pressure polyethylene (LDPE), it guards against moisture ingress, dirt, paint splatter and most mineral oils during production, storage, transportation and maintenance work. Commonly used in oil and gas refining, hydraulics and heavy industrial applications where flange protection is critical.

Sizing questions
Which class do I need?
Use the pressure class stamped on the flange rim. Inserts are sized to the bolt holes of that class, so an insert for a different class may not fit.
How many do I need?
One insert per bolt hole. The bolt-hole count depends on the flange size and class — count the holes on your flange.
ANSI or DIN — which is my flange?
ANSI / ASME flanges are sized in inches (for example 4") with a pressure class such as 150 or 300. DIN / EN flanges are sized in DN (for example DN 100) with a PN rating. The standard and size are normally stamped on the flange rim.
