Product details

Blue LDPE stud hole insert that plugs the four bolt holes of a 3/4" 150 Class flange to protect the gasket face from contamination and damage.

These inserts are designed for flanges with protruding bolt holes around the raised face. Four ribs push firmly into the stud holes to hold the cap in place, offering a quick and cost-effective alternative to full-face protectors. Commonly used in oil and gas refining, hydraulic systems and industrial production where flange protection during fabrication, transport and storage minimises costly damage to equipment.

Sizing questions

Which class do I need?

Use the pressure class stamped on the flange rim. Inserts are sized to the bolt holes of that class, so an insert for a different class may not fit.

How many do I need?

One insert per bolt hole. The bolt-hole count depends on the flange size and class — count the holes on your flange.

ANSI or DIN — which is my flange?

ANSI / ASME flanges are sized in inches (for example 4") with a pressure class such as 150 or 300. DIN / EN flanges are sized in DN (for example DN 100) with a PN rating. The standard and size are normally stamped on the flange rim.
