Product details
Plastic stud hole insert with four ribs that push into flange bolt holes to protect the gasket face from contamination and mechanical damage.
These inserts are designed for 1½" nominal diameter flanges rated 150 Class. Manufactured from high-density polyethylene (LDPE), they provide a quick, cost-effective protection solution during production, transportation, storage and maintenance work. Sizing questions
Which class do I need?
Use the pressure class stamped on the flange rim. Inserts are sized to the bolt holes of that class, so an insert for a different class may not fit.
How many do I need?
One insert per bolt hole. The bolt-hole count depends on the flange size and class — count the holes on your flange.
ANSI or DIN — which is my flange?
ANSI / ASME flanges are sized in inches (for example 4") with a pressure class such as 150 or 300. DIN / EN flanges are sized in DN (for example DN 100) with a PN rating. The standard and size are normally stamped on the flange rim.
