Product details
Black LDPE stud hole insert designed to protect 1/2" nominal flange faces and bolt holes from contamination and damage.
This flange protector features four ribs that engage into the stud holes around the flange perimeter, holding it firmly in place during production, transportation, storage and maintenance operations. Manufactured from low-density polyethylene (LDPE), it resists moisture, dirt, paint and most oils, safeguarding costly flange equipment and gasket sealing surfaces.

Sizing questions
Which class do I need?
Use the pressure class stamped on the flange rim. Inserts are sized to the bolt holes of that class, so an insert for a different class may not fit.
How many do I need?
One insert per bolt hole. The bolt-hole count depends on the flange size and class — count the holes on your flange.
ANSI or DIN — which is my flange?
ANSI / ASME flanges are sized in inches (for example 4") with a pressure class such as 150 or 300. DIN / EN flanges are sized in DN (for example DN 100) with a PN rating. The standard and size are normally stamped on the flange rim.
