Product details
Stud hole insert for 1" 300/600 class flanges, protecting bolt holes and gasket faces with four retaining ribs.
This insert plugs the four stud holes of a 1" 300/600 class flange, shielding the bolt holes and surrounding flange face from moisture, dirt, paint and oils during production, transportation, storage and maintenance. Sizing questions
Which class do I need?
Use the pressure class stamped on the flange rim. Inserts are sized to the bolt holes of that class, so an insert for a different class may not fit.
How many do I need?
One insert per bolt hole. The bolt-hole count depends on the flange size and class — count the holes on your flange.
ANSI or DIN — which is my flange?
ANSI / ASME flanges are sized in inches (for example 4") with a pressure class such as 150 or 300. DIN / EN flanges are sized in DN (for example DN 100) with a PN rating. The standard and size are normally stamped on the flange rim.
